週末は岡山・表町商店街で遊ぼう
今週末は表町へ?。岡山市中心部の表町商店街で１９、２０の両日、多彩な催しが繰り広げられる。恒例の土曜夜市に、岡山シンフォニーホールで２０日に開かれるシャンソンの祭典「岡山パリ祭」に合わせたイベントが重なる。真夏でも日陰で涼しいアーケード街へ、家族や友人と繰り出してみては？
今夏の土曜夜市は１９日と８月２日の２回。１９日は、加盟する８カ町のうち７カ町（８月は中之町のみ）が参加する。午後３時からスタートする中之町の「サタデーテントパーティー」は、ビールやフードを座ってのんびり楽しもうという初の試みで、ステージライブも行われる。同時刻に新西大寺町では氷彫刻の大会も始まる。
５時からは、西大寺町と下之町でもビールや地酒、フランクフルトなどを販売。昔ながらの金魚すくいや射的、輪投げなどの「らっしゃい小路（こみち）」は栄町と紙屋町で。上之町では、初の「こどもカラオケ大会」が６～８時（５時半から受け付け）に行われる。参加無料、飛び入り可。
パリ祭に合わせ、シンフォニーホール近くでは「上之町パリ祭」を１９、２０日に開催。両日とも午前１１時から、元ホテルオークラ岡山総料理長湯浅薫男さんによる千屋牛のステーキなどの料理やジェラート、カクテルといった飲食物のほか、装飾品や木工品なども販売。正午からは特設ステージで歌やダンスが繰り広げられる。エッフェル塔の紙製模型（高さ６０センチ）の色塗りコーナーもある。
表町商店街連盟の矢部久智事業推進部長は「昔ながらの催しから新しい企画まで盛りだくさん。大勢の人に楽しんでもらいたい」としている。問い合わせは同連盟（０８６ ２２６ ２２９０）。
