岡山市の後楽園は２０日～１１月３日、江戸時代に藩主の居間として使われ、日ごろは入ることのできない延養亭を特別公開する。
日本を代表する数寄屋建築の一つとされ、ここからの眺めは園内随一とされる。当日はボランティアガイドの解説を聞きながら見学。倉敷市出身の日本画家・池田遙邨の天井画がある隣接する茶室・臨い軒の内部も見ることができる。
開始時間は午前は１０時、１０時４５分、１１時半、午後が１時、１時４５分、２時半。参加料１００円（別途入園料が必要）。定員は各回１５人で、同園事務所に電話（０８６-２７２-１１４８）で事前予約するか、各回１５分前までに後楽園正門の受付で申し込む。予約優先で、定員になり次第締め切る。
