岡山市本庁駐車場を有料で開放

平日はこれまで午後５時１５分の閉庁後に無料開放していたが、土日祝日の有料化を機に適正利用を図るため、今月から夜間閉鎖している。
市総務企画課は「イオン開業で懸念される渋滞の緩和に少しでも役立てば」としている。

岡山駅地下改札 バリアフリーに
ＪＲ岡山駅南に大型ショッピングセンター「イオンモール岡山」（岡山市北区下石井）が５日グランドオープンするのに合わせ、ＪＲ西日本岡山支社などが進めていた岡山駅地下改札周辺のバリアフリー工事がほぼ完了した。一部を除いて利用が始まった４日、記念の式典が開かれた。
同駅山陽線下りホームであった式には関係者約６０人が出席。岡山支社の中村圭二郎支社長が「駅利用者の約４割が地下改札を利用している。利便性の高まった地下道をより一層活用してほしい」とあいさつした後、テープカットで祝った。
従来、車いすやベビーカーを押す人たちは、イオンモールと結ばれる地下街へ行くには、一度２階改札外を出て別のエレベーターに乗る必要があった。工事では１階の山陽、伯備、赤穂線ホーム（１～４番）と地下をつなぐ１１人乗りエレベーター２基のほか、地下の通路スロープを整備。ホームから地下街までスムーズに移動できるようにした。
また、多機能トイレ、改札外での段差を解消するエレベーター１基も設け、改札内外の床にはイオンモールの方向を案内するフロアシート（縦３・２メートル、横６・２メートル）２枚も張った。
瀬戸大橋、津山、吉備線ホーム（５～１０番）でもエレベーター２基の設置工事を進めており、今月中に完成する。
６月に着工。事業費約４億５千万円のうち３億円は、国と岡山市などが補助した。

五色のカラフル小龍包 イオンモール岡山に「白桃居」OPEN
2014年12月5日からグランドオープンするイオンモール岡山(岡山市北区)7階に、中国料理「白桃居（パイトウキョ）」がオープンします。
看板メニューは「五味五色小籠包」(980円)。スタンダードの白のほか、蟹味噌の黄色、ふかひれの緑、牛肉麻辣の黒、梅豚の赤と、バラエティに富んだ5種類の餡がカラフルな皮で包まれている手作りの一品です。
大餃子(4個480円)や海鮮五目麺(1280円)、白桃居特製杏仁豆腐(480円)など麺飯や一品料理、デザートも多数用意されています。
営業時間は11時から23時まで。定休日はイオンモール岡山に準じます。

イオンモール岡山が開業 初日からにぎわい
地上８階、地下２階建てで、西日本最大級の商業施設「イオンモール岡山」が５日、ＪＲ岡山駅近くで開業した。開店前に約７３００人が列を作り、初日からにぎわいを見せた。
４階まで吹き抜け構造となった１階のイベント空間「未来スクエア」は、最大２千人が集まれる広場。５階には岡山の四季をイメージした庭園を設置し、夜間にライトアップするなどの演出にこだわった。
出店する約４００店のうち、地元企業が６５店あるのもイオンモール岡山の特徴だ。その一つ、倉敷市児島のアパレルブランド「ＫＡＰＩＴＡＬ（キャピタル）」は、出店にあたって店名を「ＯＫＡＰＩＴＡＬ」とした。地元の「岡山」を合わせた名称だ。担当者は「幅広い年齢層の方に来てもらっていて、手応えを感じている」と話した。

イオンは５日、ＪＲ岡山駅前に同社では西日本最大の売り場面積を持つ商業施設「イオンモール岡山」をオープンさせた。神戸や大阪など関西に流れていた買い物客をつかみ、年間２千万人の来店を見込む。
イオン岡山店を核に、衣料や食品、書籍、雑貨など３５６の専門店がある。このうち、約２割にあたる６５店は岡山県内の企業にし、地元との連携をめざす。店舗のほか、映画館や多目的ホール、地元放送局のスタジオなどが入った。
モールはＪＲ岡山駅と地下道でつながり、徒歩５分。地上８階、地下２階で、売り場面積は９万２千平方メートルある。土地は、経営破綻（はたん）した地元のバイオ関連企業の林原から買い取った。
イオンモールの岡崎双一社長は記者会見で「イオングループを代表する『旗艦店』として、地元との連携など新しい取り組みをしてきた。たくさんの客が周りの商店街にも流れていくと思う」と話した。
