東日本大震災による避難者の実情について理解を深める地域交流イベント「なぜお母さんは岡山への移住を選んだのか？」が２６日、岡山市北区表町のさんかく岡山で開かれた。当事者グループ「おかやまくらしをはじめる会」の主催。
　岡山理科大の緒方清隆非常勤講師が、調査を手掛ける避難者の生活実態を報告。東京電力福島第１原発事故に伴う放射線への懸念から岡山に逃れた経緯のほか、頼れる人が近くにいない母子避難の経済的困窮、周囲からの孤立など、突然の避難で生じた課題を指摘した。
　岡山に溶け込めている避難者の共通項としては「同じ境遇の仲間や友人が近くにでき、子どもも地元になじんでいる」と説明。参加者に積極的な受け入れを呼び掛けた。
　地元から訪れた岡山市北区、女性（６０）は「岡山へ避難している人の実情がよく分かった。私たちに何ができるか考えたい」と話した。

倉敷市美観地区一帯をろうそくやあんどんで照らす「倉敷春宵あかり２０１５」（倉敷市などでつくる実行委主催）。春の観光シーズン幕開けを告げる恒例イベントが２８日、開幕する。３月２２日までの土曜日を中心に、歴史情緒漂う白壁のまちを“和の明かり”で包み、観光客を誘う。
　倉敷川河畔は、今橋から高砂橋までの約３００メートル区間をライトアップする。ＬＥＤ（発光ダイオード）をともした竹型のあんどんや円柱のろうそくを並べる。夜間の川舟流し（一般５００円、５歳以上小学生以下２５０円）も楽しめる。
　大原家旧別邸・有隣荘（同市中央）前の通りには、約３０本の和傘を広げて展示。内側からライトをともし、柔らかい明かりを放つランプシェードとしてアレンジする。
　町家や観光施設の窓を影絵で彩る「影絵あかり」は、日本郷土玩具館（同）や倉敷館（同）など９カ所で行い、春をイメージした絵柄を映す。
　２８日午後５時半からオープニングイベントがあり、倉敷館前で関係者が点灯式。その後、地元グループ「マンボバップギターズ」がジャズやボサノバの演奏を披露する。
　最終週の３月２１、２２日は、「スペシャルデー」と銘打ち対象エリアを拡大。倉敷川周辺の細い路地やＪＲ倉敷駅南の商店街にもぼんぼりやちょうちんを設置するほか、手提げちょうちんを手に一帯を巡る「あかりめぐり」などのイベントを企画し、フィナーレを飾る。
　ろうそくなどの点灯時間は、期間中の土曜と最終日の午後６～９時。影絵あかりは、日没から午後９時まで毎日行う。実行委事務局の倉敷観光コンベンションビューローは「倉敷の歴史情緒が際立つ演出。ゆっくり滞在し、夜のまちを巡ってほしい」と話している。
