イオン、２５００台の臨時駐車場
ＪＲ岡山駅南に１１月開業予定の大型商業施設「イオンモール岡山」（岡山市北区下石井）の開発・運営会社イオンモール（千葉市）は９日、岡山市郊外を中心に約２５００台の臨時駐車場を確保する方針を明らかにした。店舗に併設する約２５００台と合わせて約５千台を専用駐車場に充てることで、開業時の交通渋滞緩和を図る。
臨時駐車場は、ＪＲ北長瀬駅（岡山市北区北長瀬表町）近くのアクションスポーツパーク岡山跡地に１千台、９月末で閉店するイオン岡山店（同青江）に２００台を確保。残る約１３００台も遊休地を借り上げる方向で官民と交渉中という。臨時駐車場は当面、来年１月末までの予定。
店舗と臨時駐車場の間は送迎バスを走らせるほか、ＪＲやバスなどの公共交通機関の利用を促すこととし、運賃負担や特典を検討する。このほか、提携駐車場も岡山駅周辺などに確保する。
