＜２０１４衆院選＞「逆風」と自民引き締め ／岡山
衆院選は１２月２日公示、１４日に投開票される。県内は５選挙区に１４人（２５日現在）が立候補の動きを見せている。政権奪還を巡った前回選から一変、今回は民主党が１、３、５区で公認候補の擁立を見送った。前回選と同じ顔ぶれが予想される２区を皮切りに、各選挙区の構図を探った。
◆２区
◇民主、連合が集中支援へ
２区は、自民と民主の前職に、共産新人が絡む構図。予想される顔ぶれは２０１２年の前回選挙と同じだ。前回初当選し、「２年間の実績をアピールする」と勢いづく自民前職と、「小選挙区での勝利を」と意気込む民主前職、「安倍政権を止める」と訴える共産新人が挑む。
「２年の実績にあぐらをかかず、新しい力をいただきたい」。自民前職の山下貴司氏（４９）は２３日、中区での街頭演説で、声を張り上げた。前を自転車や歩行者が通るといったん口からマイクを離し、「こんにちは」「ご迷惑おかけします」と頭を下げる。山下氏は「解散に反対する声をたくさん聞いている。今回の選挙は逆風だと思っている」と表情を引き締めた。

民主前職の津村啓介氏（４３）は、２００３年から４期１１年を務めた。前回は山下氏に２万４４８８票差で敗れ、比例代表で復活当選。２４日に中区で事務所開きをし、支援者を前に「（野党の議席を増やし）緊張感のある国会を取り戻す」と力を込めた。
津村氏は「民主党は今、有権者に党として相手にされていない。期待も風当たりも感じない」と厳しく状況を見る。民主を支援する連合は、民主の公認候補が立つ２区、４区に集中して支援体制を組む方針だ。連合の関係者は「人数を集中できるのはいい。今のところ劣勢だが、これからの取り組み次第で勝つ可能性はある」と話す。
共産新人の井上素子氏（６７）は前回に続き２回目の出馬。玉野市議を５期２０年間務めた経験があり、同市を中心に街頭演説を始めている。「消費増税をやめさせ、国民の暮らしを守る経済政策を打ち出す」と訴える。

３区は、民主党県連が公認候補の擁立を見送ったため、２０１２年の前回選で当選した次世代前職、比例代表で復活した自民前職、前回選にも立候補した共産新人の三つどもえとなる公算が大きい。支持者の高齢化や支援体制の変化に加え、前回選で民主党候補が得た３万弱の票の行方が鍵を握りそうだ。
１２期目を目指す次世代党首の平沼赳夫氏（７５）は、今回は党が変わったものの、支持者は「『保守の国作り』という基本線は変わっていない」。安全保障制度の充実、公平な社会保障制度などを訴える。
盤石と言われた平沼氏の後援会組織は、支持者の高齢化を懸念。後援会幹部は「『次世代』という名前と、その政策を浸透させることが大事」と気を引き締める。
過去３回、比例中国ブロックで復活当選した自民の阿部俊子氏（５５）は「相手は関係なく、私の政策を訴える」と強調し、雇用の創出を成長戦略に掲げる。第２次安倍改造内閣で副農相を務め、「小規模事業者対策を進め、新規事業を興す。第一線の農業者・林業者・漁業者の所得を倍増させたい」。
一方、阿部氏の元秘書の小倉博俊氏が今年８月、新庄村長に返り咲いたが、小倉氏は「（首長の）立場上、表だって支援することは難しい」。自民が追い風を受けた前回選でも、阿部氏の得票は前々回（０９年）と比べ１３６０票の上積みにとどまっており、支援体制に課題がありそうだ。
前回選では民主党公認候補が２万９０９５票を獲得。この票の動向について、平沼、阿部両陣営ともに「棄権して投票率が下がるのでは」と推測している。ただ、浮動票が多いとされる備前、赤磐両市などの東備地域の状況などによって、情勢が変わる可能性もある。前回選で、平沼、阿部両氏を推薦したＪＡ系の政治団体「県農政連盟」は「公示までに推薦の結論を出す」としている。
前回も立候補した共産の古松国昭氏（６９）は、県北地域を中心に巡回。原発再稼働やＴＰＰ（環太平洋パートナーシップ協定）の反対、消費増税の中止などを主張。「安倍政権は国民の願いに逆行している。正義の転換を」と訴え、支持拡大を図る。
