Kangyo struck by waterfall in Okayama, Longquan Temple

岡山・龍泉寺で滝に打たれ寒行
２０日は二十四節気の一つ「大寒」。１年で最も寒い時季とされるが、岡山県内は寒気が流れ込まず、朝の最低気温は平年より４～１度高く、２月下旬から４月上旬並みの暖かい朝となった。
各地の最低気温は、岡山市中心部４・２度（平年１・０度）倉敷市２・０度（同０・０度）津山市１・４度（同氷点下１・８度）新見市千屋氷点下２・５度（同４・３度）などだった。
岡山市北区下足守の最上教本山龍泉寺では、毎年大寒に合わせて行われる寒行があり、参拝者約１０人が午前６時から滝に打たれた。平年を上回る気温とはいえ、流れ落ちる水は身を切るように冷たく、参拝者は手を合わせて無心に祈りをささげ、心身を清めていた。
岡山地方気象台は「２１、２２日は気圧の谷の影響で雨。２３日以降は高気圧に覆われ、最高気温は平年より高くなる」と予報している。
