Okayama Local Meteorological Observatory relocates an observation point.
It was announced on the 26th, that about 3 kilometers of Okayama Local Meteorological Observatory was moved to the Okayama University Tsushima campus in whole the said Tsushima in a northnortheast from Okayama area joint government building in Okayama-shi Kita-ku Kuwadacho about the part of the observation equipment in the ground weather monitoring spot "Okayama". The high building completed on the government office building north side was judged to have an influence on the observation environment. A relocation day is March 5.
I say that a change in the ventilation is considered with construction in the large commercial establishment I started in December of last year according to the said meteorological observatory. The place the good environment can maintain in the long run was being selected from January of last year.
The barometer by which the amount of rainfall, the temperature, the humidity, snowfall (snowfall and snow) and the air pressure measure 7 elements for relocating it and the observation equipment by which a rain gauge and a vent sleeve are five. The equipment which measures the direction of the wind, the wind velocity and the sunshine is left for Okayama 2nd joint government building (Okayama-shi Kita-ku Shimoishii). The spot name is changed to "Kuwatacho" vanity "Tsushima".
Since spot change in "Okayama" is relocated in the said Kuwatacho in October, 1982 from Kimachi of the said Tsushima mulberry. After the normal value accumulates data for 5 years, when there is need, it's corrected. The extreme value takes present data over.

岡山地方気象台が観測地点を移設
岡山地方気象台は26日、地上気象観測地点「岡山」の観測機器の一部について、岡山市北区桑田町の岡山地方合同庁舎から、約3キロ北北東の同津島中の岡山大津島キャンパスに移すと発表した。庁舎北側に完成した高層建物が観測環境に影響を及ぼすと判断した。移設日は3月5日。
同気象台によると、昨年12月に開業した大型商業施設の建設に伴い、風通しの変化などが考えられるという。長期的に良好な環境が維持できる場所の選定を昨年1月から行っていた。
移設するのは降水量、気温、湿度、雪(降雪、積雪)、気圧など7要素を計測する気圧計、雨量計、通風筒など五つの観測機器。風向、風速、日照を測る機器は岡山第2合同庁舎(岡山市北区下石井)に残す。地点名称は「桑田町」から「津島」に変更する。
「岡山」の地点変更は同津島桑の木町から1982年10月に同桑田町に移設して以来。平年値は5年間データを蓄積後、必要があれば修正する。極値などは現データを引き継ぐ。
